Wellness
Definition

Wellness is a measure of behaviour at a personal and an organisational level

Wellness is fundamental to building both healthy high performers and, at an organisational level, the culture those people can create.

Wellness is defined by physical, mental, emotional and essential status of each person; i.e. a healthy, body, an alert mind, a balanced emotional nature and an inner essential presence. Behaviour is a manifestation of our wellness at any moment.

In measuring and changing well behaviour, Corporate Heart enables individuals to review and enhance their strengths and potential to grow, innovate and excel in performance. Within this approach, any dysfunctional behaviour (unwell behaviour) such as anxiety, fear, low confidence, aggression, bullying and dis-stress is addressed. Well behaviour, developed within the context of the Wellness Map©, always underpins healthy high performance.

By defining ‘well’ behaviours that act as influencers and underpin both ‘high’ and healthy’ output in performance, Corporate Heart measures wellness with an online Organisation Wellness Survey; and implements change through The Corporate Heart™ Wellness Map© and transformation programmes.

A defining element of every culture is ‘the way we behave around here’
